Over CAOS 2024:
CAOS International organiseert het 23e jaarlijkse Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery (CAOS) Congres in 2024 in Groningen.
Zoals we allemaal weten, is computerondersteunde chirurgie absoluut onze toekomst; vooral robotchirurgie. De nieuwe robotarmen die met hoge precisie en nauwkeurigheid vrij kunnen buigen en draaien, kunnen chirurgen helpen betere en veiligere resultaten voor patiënten te bereiken. Robotchirurgie wordt al gebruikt. Daarnaast komt het gebruik van big data in de medische wereld nu steeds vaker voor en zal het een steeds grotere rol gaan spelen in onze medische systemen.
CAOS 2024 belooft u up to date kennis & de nieuwste technologieën, gecombineerd met heerlijke eten en een prettig verblijf. Kortom: Dit wilt u niet missen! Noteer de datum daarom vast in uw agenda: 12-15 juni 2024 – Groningen!
CAOS International
The society aims to capture the essence of the current trends and scientific progress to provide experts and newcomers with a clear synthesis of state-of-the-art information in the course of our annual meeting as well as in our activities including interdisciplinary focus groups cooperating on different fields, programs for continuous training and education, student mentoring programs as well as resources for exchanging data and resources for research, development and education. From an original historical focus on computer assisted navigation, the society expands its mandate to include the essential fields of advanced medical imaging, mathematical modeling, individual biometrics of gait and soft tissue characteristics, and peri-operative objective functional outcomes, internet of things and the digital operating room, medical apps and data security as well as rapid prototyping or the critical role of economics and health technology assessment.

Bereikbaarheid
Het CAOS Congres 2024 zal plaats vinden in Groningen. De locatie staat op dit moment echter nog niet vast. Deze volgt spoedig.
Programma
Het programma is op dit moment nog niet bekend. In juni 2023 zal eerst het 22e jaarlijkse CAOS congres plaatsvinden, in Thailand. Daarna gaat er gekeken worden naar het programma van 2024.
